Our vision

“The UK’s First Specifically Designed Rugby Related Educational Programme for 3-9 Year Old’s”

Philosophy and Vision

Sessions are based around a strong ethos of lots of fun and promoting RuggerEds’ core values of Good Manners, Respect, Teamwork and Fairplay.

The games are high energy and designed to make the children work together to achieve common goals and the essence of teamwork. Delivered in a safe and structured rugby related play environment, by a team of qualified and experienced coaches.

A modern company with traditional values.

Our aim at RuggerEds is not only to improve the children’s motor skills but to deliver in partnership with parents and schools confident, well mannered, independent young people.

To provide an educational environment, where every child matters and every child is encouraged as an individual to unlock their full potential, ultimately creating “better people, better players”.

Today we wave goodbye to 2 of RuggerEds most loved Coaches, Jay & Tom who are travelling Thailand and Australia for the next 6-9 months before beginning University in September.

Jay began volunteering for RuggerEds aged 15 and in the last 4 years has risen through the ranks to become one of our most well known and influential coaches working across Sheffield and Derbyshire franchises.

Tom began a year later and immediately became a favourite to many of our weekend morning children, also rising through the ranks over the years Tom has worked full time in Sheffield for the last 3 months across countless schools.

Both Tom and Jay have contributed immeasurably to make RuggerEds what it is today and will be sorely missed!

Good luck Gents, see you when you're home!

Reminder that all sessions tomorrow are Christmas themed with prizes for the most creative costume and a visit from the big man at High Storrs (he's a busy guy this time of year so can't make every session unfortunately) but only if everyone behaves 😇

There may even be a parents prize for the best/worst Christmas jumper!

We look forward to seeing you all in the morning 😁
